Job Description SummaryWe are one of the largest global medical technology companies, advancing the world of health™. As an Account Executive, you will improve customer value and satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives.
Responsibilities- Drive sales and services to new and existing customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and potential influencers.
- Manage a longer sales cycle and maintain balance in all areas of the pipeline.
- Develop opportunity plans independently to drive consistent results.
- Apply knowledge of the customer’s business to develop optimal solutions.
- Proactively demonstrate the defined value of partnering with BD, both pre- and post-sales.
- Effectively negotiate and collaborate with customers and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Build and sustain relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop plans for introducing new solutions.
- 2–3 years of successful medical equipment sales.
- Ability to lead a long sales cycle.
- Travel up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meeting BD’s auto safety standards.
- Capital sales experience.
- Experience working with Pharmacy, IT, Nursing, C‑suite call points.
Salary ranges vary by location: $85,000–$95,000 USD annual base plus incentive. Remote or field‑based positions may have different arrangements. For certain roles, employment is contingent upon proof of full vaccination against COVID‑19, or testing if required.
Requires an on‑site presence of at least 4 days per week where applicable, with flexibility for remote or field work as outlined in the posting.
