About the RoleAt Smith+ Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that removes the limits on living.
What Will You Be Doing?As a member of the Orthopaedics Sales Team, you will work in an assigned territory and hospital accounts, assisting in the scheduling of operative cases, securing inventory for those cases, observing and consulting the surgical team on Smith+ Nephew instrumentation and implants, and completing the logistical requirements associated with those cases. The position requires the ability to assimilate and learn a high level of technical information related to surgery and procedures.

The foundation of your success relies on becoming a technical expert in the Orthopaedics portfolio through structured training and assessments, building rapport with Sales Reps and leadership in the territory and region, and collaborating with teammates to develop an effective territory business plan that generates revenue and meets or exceeds your quota. You must be team-oriented, highly attentive to detail, and flexible to work untraditional hours to support the salesforce and customers.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of professional sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license applicable to current residence to facilitate travel requirements.
Within the designated sales territory with 2–4 overnights a month; infrequent national travel for events and conferences.
CredentialingAll field sales professionals who are required to access healthcare facilities must complete the credentialing process and comply with facility requirements, including adherence to vaccine protocols.
CompensationThe anticipated base compensation range for this position is $60,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered will be based on factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
