Job purpose

We are seeking an Associate Sales Representative - Ophthalmology with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. The Associate Sales Representative - Ophthalmology is responsible for supporting the sales process for our surgical and clinic product portfolios, providing in-service and technical support to customers, and working in conjunction with our Field Sales Team on customer management.

What you will do

  • Drive revenue of Corza products in existing and new customers in acute and non-acute settings. Support clinical trials, cross-selling and upselling of the Corza Medical portfolio, and in-service current customers to maintain a healthy purchasing cycle. This is a hybrid position requiring teamwork and collaboration with Territory Managers.
  • Demonstrate territory knowledge and partner with Territory Managers; perform administrative duties as assigned.
  • Provide feedback on customers, competitors, promotional programs, and market changes to improve product and company performance.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Sales and provide feedback.
  • Offer administrative and clinical support tasks in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with surgical and support staff.
  • Drive and manage the sales cycle at all levels within targeted accounts to advance the selling process weekly and monthly.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, and clinical meetings as needed.
  • Understand and comply with applicable customer policies, HIPAA, and vendor requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience; 1-2 years in operating room sales/medical device required. Ophthalmology experience is a plus.
  • B2B selling experience within medical devices or related fields preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM ().
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent selling and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across organizational levels.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, PowerPoint, networks and internet applications.
  • Up to 25-50% overnight travel domestically within territory (location dependent).
  • Must live within the Seattle, WA area.
  • This role requires meeting hospital credentialing requirements.

Benefits and compensation

Corza Medical offers a competitive benefits package including medical, 401K, vacation and sick time, paternal leave and other benefits. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 total compensation. Pay is offered based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications, and certain degrees.
