Overview

Global Account Manager, Healthcare and Life Sciences – Amazon Web Services (AWS). Join the AWS Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) Industry team to execute the industry strategy by working backwards and in collaboration with world‑class companies. Our team engages with technical leaders, C‑level executives and influencers across the Life Sciences segment to support a digitally enhanced, data‑driven healthcare ecosystem.

Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities
  • Grow the AWS footprint within a defined set of customers by building and maintaining executive relationships (CxO/VP level) and advising on AWS cloud solutions.
  • Lead and support sales pursuits, develop innovative programs, and expand platform adoption to new business units.
  • Engage with prospects, customers, partners and internal teams to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Shape and deliver on a global healthcare strategy within the HCLS Industry team, including guiding Go‑to‑Market (GTM) strategy and creating significant business opportunities for AWS.
  • Collaborate with AWS sales leadership to engage healthcare organizations and drive strategic interactions with clients; work with product and services teams to evolve offerings for faster customer adoption.
  • Interact with Life Sciences organizations at executive levels, think strategically about business, product and technical challenges, and convey compelling value propositions.
  • Lead multiple complex initiatives across technical and non‑technical stakeholders with a customer‑obsessed and collaborative approach, using data and metrics to measure progress.
  • Represent AWS at industry events to drive thought leadership and build relationships with strategic industry partners.
Qualifications
  • Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives.
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
  • Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans.
