Senior Account Executive – Self‑Funded
Position:
Senior Account Executive (Self‑Funded) at Providence Health Plan. Responsible for driving revenue growth, generating and implementing new group business in self‑insured markets, and maintaining key business relationships.
- Develop and grow self‑insured group business, targeting employers with 2,500+ employees.
- Maintain and expand relationships with brokers, consultants, and other channel partners.
- Represent Providence as a visible, consultative face in a complex and competitive marketplace.
- Provide training and support to producers/consultants to enhance productivity.
- Cross‑sell Workplace Health Services to maximize penetration of Providence Health and Services.
- Travel weekly within the assigned territory to meet clients and partners.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in health‑plan commercial group benefits.
- 10+ years of successful insurance industry sales experience, including fully insured and self‑insured markets.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance proof; willing to drive as needed.
- Demonstrated success selling self‑insured business and complex benefit/financial structures.
- Current Health Insurance Producer License for Washington or Oregon.
- Position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and tied to a location and compensation range in Portland, Oregon.
- Must live within a 25–30‑mile commute of Portland or Seattle, Washington.

Remote (hybrid with office visits at Providence Health Plaza, HR Building 2, Portland).
Base pay range: $48.27 – $76.22 per hour (includes additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonus opportunities).
