Comprised of leaders from Cylance (now Blackberry), Accuvant (now Optiv), Fireye and ISS X-Force (now IBM), Halcyon is focused on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.

Strategic Account Executive

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional and results‑driven Strategic Account Executive to join our team and make an immediate impact. Our ideal candidate excels at early stage companies and has influential relationships within the industry, leveraging their in-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and customer needs to drive outstanding results.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to generate rapid pipeline and convert prospective clients with minimal ramp time.
  • Be accountable to defined pipeline metrics.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, understand their needs, present tailored solutions with emphasis on outcomes.
  • Articulate the value proposition of Halcyon’s solutions in a compelling manner.
  • Optimize client engagement post‑sale, timing additional transactions appropriately.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding evolving cybersecurity requirements.
  • Conduct regular client reviews, assess satisfaction levels, propose enhancements to meet client objectives.
  • Network via industry user groups, tabletop events and key industry conferences.
  • Leverage strategic alliance partnerships to realize potential business opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Facilitate continuous enablement, roadmap discussions, QBRs, and Executive Value Conversations to maximize client value.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements while ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize sales processes and enhance overall client experience.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of sales in the endpoint cybersecurity industry, focusing on strategic and large enterprise level accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets; 100%+ quota attainment with multi‑million dollar deals.
  • Proven track record of building long‑term client partnerships and managing high‑profile accounts with strategic expansion opportunities.
  • Skillful pipeline management and ability to balance strategic expansion with high‑profile accounts.
  • Ability to qualify leads based on key success metrics.
  • Established & maintained client & executive‑level relationships, focused on partnership success.
  • Familiarity with channel ecosystem and leveraging value‑added resellers.
  • Proficient in negotiating procurement and legal agreements, driving favorable terms.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, conveying complex concepts clearly.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $130,000–$170,000

Base pay is one part of the total package and may include discretionary bonuses, incentives, and equity.
