Mohawk Industries is a Fortune 500, global flooring leader. We are looking for an Account Executive who is business-minded, organized, high-energy, a proven winner, and a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced and complex selling environments with multiple stakeholders across segments and channels.
This is a sales position acting as the principal selling agent within the assigned territory to achieve the short- and long-term objectives established in the company s Business Plan. Objectives are achieved through discovering new customers and existing markets in the territory. May be assigned to a specific market segment when based out of a major metropolitan area.
What You ll Do- Performs Sales Calls, including traveling to customer facilities, providing information and support, making sales presentations to prospective and current clients, quoting prices, taking orders, and closing transactions; explains features and merits of products or services; answers questions and provides referrals as required.
- Monitors territory performance against established objectives and takes action to improve performance.
- Provides customer service to resolve issues within marketing policies; communicates customer requirements to other departments; provides product-specific feedback to product line managers, management, or customer service personnel.
- Collaborates with leadership to establish sales objectives for the territory and ensures activities comply with policies and practices; maintains corporate ethical and professional standards in the absence of formalized guidelines.
- Stays informed on industry, product, economic, and territory changes; provides timely field activity reporting to assist in business and product planning.
- Develops a territory coverage plan defining the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals.
- Performs region and sales analysis, develops forecasts, and prepares reports; identifies additional activities or materials needed to achieve product sales goals in key accounts and markets.
