Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide exemplary customer service to exceed satisfaction.
  • Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure at all times.
  • Communicate verbally, make public‑address announcements, perform safety demonstrations, and provide timely instructions and detailed reports.
  • Interact professionally with a wide variety of people from many cultures.
  • Assist customers, especially those needing special assistance (unaccompanied minors, individuals with special needs, the elderly).
  • Assist with luggage handling by lifting, transporting, and stowing items into overhead bins.
  • Perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and regulations, including FAA regulations. Respond effectively during emergencies and provide emergency medical assistance.
  • Ensure aircraft and customers are in full compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and safety guidance.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, snacks, and meals, and handle payments for purchased items.
  • Act as an accurate and courteous source of information for passengers, initiating service recovery when needed.
  • Assist passengers and crew during emergencies, and implement instructions from the flight deck crew.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks.
  • Work in confined spaces with exposure to nuts, animals, latex gloves, perfumes, cleaning solvents, fumes, dust, pet dander, etc. Allergic individuals must manage allergies effectively.
  • Perform required pre‑flight and security checks, reporting discrepancies to the Purser.
  • Provide special assistance to passengers, including stowing luggage, medical aid, and assistance to disabled passengers.
  • Travel in an aircraft under pressurised conditions and airport operations environment.
  • Maintain professional appearance and comply with uniform and appearance guidelines.
  • Be dependable, flexible, and committed to reporting on time and completing assignments.
  • Manage time to ensure overall punctuality.
  • Adjust work activities to adapt to changing conditions, such as scheduling changes or charter service requirements.
  • Administrative responsibilities to Inflight Supervisors/Managers, and functional responsibility to the Purser of the assigned flight.
