Overview

The Hermès Seattle Boutique opened in 2009 and focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as a part of the Pacific West Region.

Opportunity

As a Selling Supervisor, you will report to the Floor Director and work collaboratively with the sales team and selling support teams to support the client experience in a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Primary Responsibilities Sales Objectives
  • Accountable for meeting monthly and annual individual sales goals while working as part of a team to achieve the boutique’s collective target.
  • Organize and prioritize the selling floor to support sales efforts and the overall client experience. Ensure all items (bags, boxes, note cards, ribbon, stationery and the like) are stocked at all times and maintain the floor to meet standards, including straightening, filling in, replenishment of new receipts following VM guidelines, physical EAS tagging, ticketing, etc.
  • Assist with inventory preparation as needed.
POS
  • Process and ensure the accuracy of all transactions (receipts, CRM files, SKUs, monetary payment and client verification) and provide administrative support for after‑sales service when required. Partner with management on POS decisions and the preparation of opening and closing procedures.
  • Open and close the daily till, ensuring assets are properly monitored and reported.
  • Approve returns and exchanges; secure Management approval for any exceptional requests.
  • Communicate discrepancies, if they occur, during opening, closing and general POS variances by the end of the business day.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.
Asset Protection
  • Manage opening and closing procedures including store access, alarm protocols, till closing, employee sign‑in sheets and bag checks in conjunction with AP as applicable.
  • Maintain daily key log controls in partnership with AP.
  • Practice appropriate AP techniques and follow all guidelines for key control and merchandise security.
  • Ensure all products are properly ticketed (on floor, back of house and merchandise returns), respect physical EAS tagging guidelines and participate in monthly cycle counts (or as directed by management).
Customer Service
  • Consistently provide high levels of service to clients within the Hermès standard of service: prompt and friendly greeting, offer to assist and answer questions, and assistance with wrapping and packaging at POS.

About You
  • 2+ years of experience in sales and/or supervisory capacity, experience in a luxury environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Even‑tempered with the ability to continuously multi‑task.
  • Self‑starter able to work independently while balancing collaboration with a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Open availability to accommodate needs of the business.
  • Ability to lift between 0‑25 lbs. without assistance.
Compensation

The range for this position is $27.00 to $30.42 per hour. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
