- Develop customer relationships by identifying self‑storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a WOW or 5 Star service.
- Interact face‑to‑face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
- Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
- Walk the property to perform lock checks and show units to customers.
- Work independently and on a team to rent self‑storage spaces, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments utilizing our POS system, complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls regarding late payments.
- Manage invoice review and approval responsibilities within database.
- Process invoices, manage reports and legal process of auctions.
- Oversee the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.
- Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the property, opening and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
- Maintain facility through mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar light activities.
- Keep a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines (clean restrooms, landscaping, parking, paving, fence, walls, doors).
- A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
- Experience delivering high‑quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work Saturdays.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance with reliable transportation during the workday.
- Ability to frequently stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder.
The hourly pay rate for this role is $21–$23 per hour depending on experience.
* Some locations may require Sunday hours.
