The Sales & Service Representative is responsible for calling on Sherwin-Williams paint stores within the greater Seattle Market to represent a portfolio of manufacturers specializing in paint and paint-related sundries. This role focuses on driving sales growth, increasing product placement, supporting store personnel, and ensuring high levels of service execution. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, relationship-driven, and has some knowledge in coatings and sundry products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call on Sherwin-Williams store managers and outside sales team to promote paint-related products
  • Grow sales through new product introductions, line reviews, and expanding SKU penetration
  • Identify opportunities for incremental growth within existing accounts
  • Support promotional programs, new product launches, and seasonal initiatives
  • Communicate manufacturer value propositions clearly and effectively
  • Ensure proper product placement, planogram compliance, and merchandising standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist stores with stock optimization and reorders
  • Address service issues and follow up on product performance or concerns
  • Support in-store training for store employees on product features and benefits
  • Assist with product demonstrations and Pro shows
Relationship Management
  • Build strong working relationships with Sherwin-Williams store personnel
  • Serve as a trusted resource for product knowledge and problem-solving
  • Maintain positive relationships with manufacturer partners and internal agency staff
Reporting & Administration
  • Document store visits, sales activity, and opportunities using CRM or reporting tools
  • Provide feedback to manufacturers on market conditions, competitive activity, and customer needs
  • Manage territory efficiently to maximize call frequency and coverage

    Submit required reports, expense documentation, and forecasts in a timely manner

This position will potentially grow into a full time role for the right candidate.
