Overview

The Deli Steward participates in Deli kitchen operations including cooking, retail merchandising, production planning

Estimator, ordering and developing skills related to food cost analysis and staffing. They develop skills to provide mentorship and coaching to deli staff, including setting the standard for excellent customer service.

• Proven ability to provide excellent professional customer service
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and production cooking in a high-volume kitchen required
• Must have general understanding of cooking methods, natural food ingredients, and alternative foods
• Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
• Must be willing to accommodate transferring between PCC locations as needed, depending on the needs of the company
• The ability to demonstrate organizational and planning skills
• Computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Office products
• The ability to multitask on an ongoing basisOmdat
• Good leadership, teambuilding, and communication skills
• Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10 – 50lbs regularly
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Additional $1.25/hour Night Differential when applicable.
