The Flex Sample Assistant supports photo studio operations for Nordstrom and the online store. The role involves preparing and organizing merchandise for daily shoots based on volume needs. Flexibility in hours during peak periods is required.

• Prepare samples for product and on‑figure photography, including steaming and ironing.
• Maintain an organized system of sorting samples by size or specialty type for the studio.
• Accurately enter data into studio tracking tools.
• Provide support for entering product descriptions, including measurements, content, and care details.
• Collaborate with Assistant Stylists, Stylists, Sample Coordinators, and Producers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain and organize the styling area and supplies.
• Ensure adherence to company and studio policies.

• Exceptional steaming and ironing skills.
• Complete knowledge of fabrics, care, and proper handling.
• High-volume e‑commerce assisting experience is a plus.
• Skilled in building and maintaining positive working relationships.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Flexible and able to respond immediately to business changes and priorities.
• Demonstrated understanding of high-end retail and Nordstrom’s service environment.
• Proficiency with Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; on‑call as needed. Hours and scheduling depend on work volume.

Washington: $21.10–$27.00 hourly. Position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401(k), medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, holidays, and more.
