The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce by expanding our product offerings on our marketplace platform. We launched in 2020 and have built world‑class operations to delight customers with Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail delivery. The Retail Strategy & Operations team has expanded into industries such as pets, beauty, flowers, office supplies, home improvement, apparel and more.
Aboutthe Role
We’re looking to hire Associates onto our Retail Strategy & Operations team to support key strategic initiatives including merchandising & selection. You’ll expand our retail offering via selection expansion and make it seamlessly shoppable for customers.
Key Responsibilities- Strategize selection whitespace by retailer type, geography, and category to unlock product availability.
- Operate: stand up pilots, build dashboards, manage KPIs and turn wins into scalable processes.
- Analyze: build models with Excel and SQL to evaluate expansion opportunities and prioritize bets.
- Build: translate sales cycles and GTM needs into requirements and lead product feature development.
- Lead, collaborate, and influence: work with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to scale retail presence across the country.
- 1‑3+ years of experience in analytical, cross‑functional roles (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or related).
- Owner mindset: drive outcomes and scale learnings through playbooks and SOPs.
- Entrepreneurial with bias for action and ability to build from the ground up.
- Analytical: comfortable pulling data in SQL and building models in Excel.
- Adaptive: constantly exploring new tools and efficient workflows, including AI.
- Comfortable operating at both high level and detailed execution.
- Unafraid of ambiguity and thrives in fast‑changing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the $56,500 – $95,000 USD range (salary, equity, and benefits are market‑dependent).
