Retail & Store Manager, Merchandising
Salary: $81,168–$91,468 based on experience. Weekly payroll via Direct Deposit. Monthly car allowance/expenses reimbursement on select travel.

This position is responsible for hiring, training, leading and managing the assigned team of merchandisers to maintain presentation standards for all Dietz & Watson products in accordance with mutually agreed upon customer standards. In addition, it coordinates, schedules, and communicates support activities for the merchandising team to achieve budgeted sales and profit objectives, including store sets, demo/sampling activities, deli associate training, and merchandising tasks to help customer goals and objectives.
It also develops and maintains strong relationships with retailer's key deli contacts at the multi‑unit level and mentors sales merchandisers to promote Dietz & Watson and develop deli associates that become advocates for promoting our products with the consumer.
The Merchandiser Manager works with Human Resources and Sales Management to interview and hire candidates. Responsibilities include resume reviews, selection, initial phone screenings, and in‑person interviews. The Manager coordinates all onboarding procedures to ensure the employee receives necessary training and equipment, including product knowledge, company procedures and standards.
ManagementThis position supports the sales management team in meeting company sales and profit objectives. It schedules merchandisers to accomplish account objectives, trains, evaluates and mentors employees, and provides consistent feedback to enhance performance. It communicates opportunities and successes observed in the field and recommends ongoing improvements.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Marketing, Business Administration, Marketing or related field required.
- Serv‑Safe certification preferred.
- Clear driving history of at least 2 years.
- Must have Real passport for travel.
- 2–5 years of customer service/sales experience required with prior experience in food/beverage industry merchandising preferred.
