Retail Sales Associate – Floor & Decor

Floor & Decor’s Sales Associates provide friendly, accurate service and assist customers in finding products to complete their projects. They contribute to a fast-paced, safe environment by keeping sales departments clean and well stocked. If you love to learn and have a passion for helping others, join our sales floor.

Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available.

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above-and-beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using point of sale (POS) system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs; stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Operate in a manner consistent with the company’s core values and safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to company guidelines and assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

• Minimum Eligibility:
  Must be 18 years or older; knowledge of basic math; customer service experience; ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through Floor & Decor.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

• Occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Noise level typically quiet to moderate.

• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally and 20–30 pounds frequently; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and kneel or crouch as needed; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.

Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM;
Saturday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM;
Sunday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Pickup
