Barista; Part Time

Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a part‑time BARISTA position at Capital One Cafe – 333 Westlake Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109. Online applications only.

Fixed pay rate: $20.50 per hour. Tips, shift drinks, and holiday pay.

Part‑time schedule with open availability preferred. Days and hours may vary; weekends included.

Previous barista experience preferred but not required. Must perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
