Dishwasher – Part‑time at LOCAL Public Eatery (Terry Ave, Seattle, WA)

As a dishwasher at LOCAL Public Eatery, you will ensure a clean and safe environment, supporting the kitchen team and facilitating flawless service.

Hourly rate: $20.76 – $26.76 per hour plus tips. Tips range from $2.00 to $6.00 per hour and there is no guarantee of a specific distribution. Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) required.

• Exude professionalism, friendliness and fun toward guests and coworkers.
• Set up, clean, polish, and break down the dish machine; change dish water periodically.
• Wash dishes, cutlery, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and other equipment; then stock and organize designated areas.
• Maintain the dish area in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner following sanitation practices.
• Monitor dish machine to ensure wash and rinse cycles stay above safety standard temperatures.
• Ensure sanitizers in the dish machine and sinks comply with health code temperature and ppm levels.
• Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to set the team up for success.
• Follow all safety instructions and guidelines for kitchen equipment; report any maintenance issues immediately.
• Follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

• No experience necessary, but desire to learn and quickly pick up skills.
• Team‑oriented; ability to connect with others.

• Valid local and/or state Food Handler permit, or ability to obtain one.
• Capable of walking and standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending, reaching, stretching, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
