Location: We are seeking a Premium Busser at T‑Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners.

Pay: $23.75 – $26.50

* Rate of pay depends on assigned work location

★ This position follows the Seattle Mariners’ home‑game schedule from March through September. Work from October to February is not guaranteed and is based on business needs and union seniority.

★ This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with UNITEHERE Local 8.

Principle Function

The Busser position performs as an entry‑level restaurant worker that will keep Premium locations tables and surrounding areas clean and presentable to dining guests. The Premium Busser will support hosts and servers in providing exceptional service to restaurant guests. The Busser will contribute to Sodexo Live!’s operational and financial success by clearing and resetting tables and assisting servers when needed, and by following all Sodexo Live!

standards for sanitation and service to satisfy guest expectations and maximize food revenues.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient workflow and high‑quality service.
  • Set up stations with polished flatware, B&B plates, coffee and tea supplies, cups, saucers, all glassware, ice, and other required items.
  • Clear dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests depart; reset tables and replace used items for the next course.
  • Transport soiled tableware to the dish room; unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, and other items in designated drop‑off areas.
  • Clean and reset tables between seatings, including wiping table surfaces, cleaning chairs and booths, and checking/cleaning floors as needed.
  • Greet seated guests in a welcoming manner; serve water, rolls, and butter, and provide refills as needed.
  • Maintain communication with the host/hostess and wait staff to support efficient service and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist servers with food delivery, particularly for large parties or during peak service times.
  • Thank guests as they depart to provide a warm and positive farewell experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all front‑of‑house areas, including tables, chairs, floors, windows, and restrooms.
  • Restock the dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linens, ensuring adequate supplies at all times.
  • Perform additional dutiesb> as assigned to support overall restaurant operations.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Maintain valid Food Handler's Permit and MAST Permit as required.
  • Previous experience in an upscale, premium restaurant environment preferred.
  • Ability to follow proper lifting procedures; use a hand truck or cart to transport heavy or bulky items and request assistance when needed.
  • Organizational skills: keep all work areas clean, sanitized, and well‑organized at all times.
  • Adhere to sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of both kitchen and dining areas.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, HACCP guidelines, Serv Safe standards, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols.
  • Comply with established Sodexo Live! standards for safe operation of kitchen equipment and adherence to general safe work practices.
  • Be aware of environmental conditions such as wet floors, temperature extremes, and high noise levels; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver safely in tight or crowded spaces.

Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
