Roche Harbor is Seattle Bride Magazine’s “Best Northwest Destination” for seven consecutive years. Our resort features several restaurants and hosts over 100 weddings and special events each year. We are known for exceptional Pacific Northwest cuisine, warm hospitality, and memorable guest experiences.
Position OverviewThis position offers a diverse, hands-on experience working in both our Events Department and the Lime Kiln Café. Team members are scheduled and rotated through both areas as needed—supporting weddings and special events as part of our front-of-house service team, and providing friendly, efficient service in our casual café setting. The role requires flexibility to work early morning shifts as well as afternoon and late evening shifts that may run until midnight.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and creating memorable experiences for guests across different parts of the resort.
- Provide warm, attentive service during weddings and special events.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, including tables, chairs, and décor.
- Carry trays of plated food and drinks during service.
- Keep tables and service areas clean and organized.
- Support kitchen and bar teams as needed.
- Complete side work to maintain readiness for upcoming events.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and provide efficient counter service.
- Take orders accurately, handle payments, and ensure timely food delivery.
- Run food, bus tables, restock stations, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced café environment.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods (8–12 hours per shift).
- Willingness to work early morning shifts and afternoon to late evening shifts up to midnight.
- Strong attention to detail and guest service.
- Comfortable multitasking in both fast-paced café and event environments.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and professional demeanor.
- Washington State Food Handler Card required; MAST Permit required for event shifts.
- Minimum one year of experience in food service, cashiering, or event/banquet work.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

$23.00/hour base pay + $5.00/hour tip allocation (total $28.00/hour). - Lime Kiln Café
Shifts:
$17.13/hour base pay + tips averaging $13/hour - Bonus: End-of-season performance bonus of up to $2.00/hour applies only to hours worked in the Event Department.
