The Lund lab in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Division is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to work on human mucosal immunity projects. The candidate must be proficient in high-parameter flow cytometry and have extensive experience in experimental immunology. In addition, the candidate must be responsible, organized, and self-motivated, and able to efficiently manage time and experiments.

Responsibilities- Perform in-depth characterization of the mucosal T cells from human samples by high-parameter flow cytometry
- Perform data analysis and prepare reports/manuscripts
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must hold PhD in immunology, or a related field
- Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panels (>25 colors)
- Experience with mucosal immunology
- Must be willing to work with pre-clinical animal models and work at Biosafety level 2
- Must have experience working with viruses.
- Expertise in T cell, anti-viral, and mucosal immunology is highly desirable
- The candidate should have a proven track record of publication and strong written communication skills
- Must be independent, show initiative, willingness to take up new skills and responsibilities, and be a team player
- The candidate must be self-motivated, able to multitask and to work within a very collaborative environment
The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
