Research Technician IV

Overview

Assist the Principal Investigator in designing and conducting research experiments; follow established research protocol to perform investigative procedures; operate analytical instruments. Record, compile and verify the accuracy of research data; perform calculations; prepare charts, graphs and summaries. Assist in training PhD and/or MD Fellows and new Research Technicians; oversee the work of Research Technicians as requested.

As part of the research team, assist in designing and conducting experiments, follow protocols, operate analytical instruments, record and verify data, perform calculations, and prepare summaries and visualizations. Provide training and oversight as needed for PhD/MD Fellows and Research Technicians.

Bachelor's Degree in related scientific field (i.e., microbiology, immunology, biology, etc.). Minimum of five (5) years research experience in a laboratory research setting.

Extensive familiarity with computers and software applications. Experience analyzing data using spreadsheets and statistical analysis models.

$73,378.00 - $ per year

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle; positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
