Position Summary

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations of a property.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Property leasing and administration.
  • Regular/daily onsite attendance.
  • Show, lease, and move‑in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour the community, and sign a lease.
  • Conduct all functions necessary to close leases, including appointments, lead generation, tours, unit maintenance, and all follow‑up.
  • Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in.
  • Assist with lease audits, unit walks, and turnover process.
  • Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours.
  • Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Handle resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., events, promotions, newsletters).
  • Contribute to general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model units.
  • Support marketing and outreach activities and annual marketing plan implementation.
  • Analyze market data and maintain weekly market survey reports.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround.
  • Project a favorable image of the community to achieve objectives and public recognition.
  • Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters.
  • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.
Education / Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer and on‑site software skills.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular movement around premises; communication with others.
  • Often required to stand, sit, or ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, etc.
  • Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 lbs, operate machinery, vehicles, or golf carts, and work in various environments.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $24–$26 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, 401(k) with matching, commissions and performance bonuses, paid sick days, and company holidays.
