Veterinary Technician - ER

Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Renton is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department!

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

LVT I Pay: $25.60 - $36.80 per hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Career Trax leveling system.

$3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends (shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum).

Example shift differentials:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVs and advanced catheters (Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines)
• Advanced radiographs
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Level 2 & 3 inpatient care
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine
• Mentor and train other co-workers
