Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Neurology Veterinary Technician.
LVT I Pay: $25.63 - $36.81 / hour
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
$3,000 Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates!
This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system.

Applicants should have a strong knowledge base, motivation to learn, and ambition to work in a fast-paced team environment.
As a Neurology Veterinary Technician, you will:
- Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
- Calculate all medical math, including advanced calculations and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc.).
- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
- Set up for MRI and CT procedures.
- Discharge neuro patients, including client education on manual bladder expression, sling walking, range of motion, etc., and provide nursing care to stable patients.
- Perform callback calls and refill medications.
- Gather histories and communicate with clinicians.
- Perform physical exams, including vital signs and observations.
- Understand normal vital parameters.
- Be comfortable with IVC placement and venipuncture.
- Operate all brands of IV fluid pumps and troubleshoot errors.
- Restrain patients during consults and diagnostics.
- Able to lift 40-50 lbs independently.
