The Pet Care Club of Seattle is seeking an Experienced Dog Walker to support a small, dedicated group of clients in Queen Anne and Fremont
. This role is intentionally designed for someone who has worked with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and behavioral needs—and who understands the importance of calm, consistent handling.
For over 18 years
, we’ve built our reputation on matching the right caregiver to the right dog. This position reflects that standard.
- Monday–Friday
- Primary window: 10:00am–3:00pm
- Priority coverage:
- Mondays & Fridays: 10:00am–1:00pm
- Tuesday–Thursday: 10:00am–3:00pm
This is a long‑term, weekday commitment and not a short‑term or flexible gig role.
About the DogsSome dogs on this route:
- Are sensitive, cautious, or selectively reactive
- Benefit from predictable routines and familiar handlers
- Require patience, awareness, and confidence
Due to established care plans and client needs, this role requires a female handler to ensure continuity and the dogs’ comfort. This is a client‑specific requirement.
What You’ll Do- Provide structured, enriching walks
- Read and respond to canine body language
- Follow detailed handling and safety protocols
- Build trust through consistency and calm leadership
- Complete visit notes and photos in our app
- Communicate clearly with our support team
- Have prior experience with dogs of varied temperaments
- Understand reactivity, triggers, and stress signals
- Are calm, observant, and confident
- Value consistency over variety
- Are dependable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
- Are comfortable working independently with team support
This role is not suitable for first‑time dog walkers or casual applicants.
Pay & Benefits- $21.50–$25.00 per hour
