We are seeking an experienced ER veterinary assistant. Overnight shifts are available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am. Our Emerald City Emergency Clinic is dedicated to providing world‑class care to pets and compassionate support to pet parents.

Overnight shifts:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:30 pm – 7:30 am.

• Phlebotomy and other laboratory collection methods
• Processing in‑house and out‑lab samples; IDEXX, urinalysis, cytology
• Knowledge of basic emergency procedures and ability to set up for incoming cases
• Medical record‑keeping and invoicing
• Cash handling, POS, obtaining deposits for financial estimates
• Intake and discharge of patients
• Recognizing changes in status and condition of hospitalized patients
• Ability to communicate well with a team and report to a senior staff member or DVM on shift
• Following directions both verbally communicated and written
• Basic understanding of treatment/flow sheets
• All aspects of veterinary nursing care not mentioned above
• Other tasks as assigned by DVM on shift or management as indicated
