UW Medical Center–Northwest - Acute Care Resource Team has an excellent opportunity for a Night Shift Float Nurse
.
- 3x12 shift schedule
- Straight nights (7:00pm-7:30am)
- Rotating weekend shifts required
Our Resource Team provides short‑term and long‑term staffing coverage on our inpatient acute care units, including telemetry, medical‑surgical, rehabilitation, behavioral health, and surgical services floors. Our RNs also receive cross‑training opportunities for specialty units such as the Emergency Department, ICU, and Childbirth Center.

Job Responsibilities
- Identify care needs across a broad spectrum of hospital departments
- Triage patient care priorities in collaboration with the nursing supervisor
- Work alongside doctors, social workers, care managers, and therapists
- Restore patients’ health by following evidence‑based nursing practices
- Monitor and administer medications and IVs
- 1 year of acute care inpatient hospital nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Pay Range Minimum: $50.59 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $88.64 hourly
Other Compensation: $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus (eligible new employees), BSN (or higher) premium $1.00/hour, Certification premium $1.25/hour, Night premium $5.00/hour, Weekend premium (Fridays and Saturdays) $4.00/hour, Sunday night premium $3.00/hour
