Harborview Medical Center’s (HMC) new, innovative 4MB – Planned Surgical unit has an outstanding opportunity for Registered Nurses (RNs). The 4MB unit, the first in‑patient innovative (including virtual care) unit in the UW Medicine system, will integrate the latest technologies. It is a 20‑bed inpatient acute care unit with telemetry monitoring, specializing in planned spine surgery and other planned surgical cases.

The unit opened Spring 2025.

Harborview Medical Center Campus – Seattle, First Hill

• Experienced acute care nursing experience.
• WA State RN license.
• Two – three years of current or recent acute care/medical surgical nursing experience, including demonstrated skill and preference for adult education (preceptor, unit‑based skills, etc.).

Pay ranges: $45.59 - $84.47 per hour.

Other compensation: BSN (or higher degree) premium $1.00/hr; certification premium $1.25/hr; night shift premium $5.00/hr; evening shift premium $2.50/hr; weekend shift premium $4.00/hr; overtime pay; relocation assistance available.
