This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

The duties listed are GS-6 Full Performance Level, GS-3/4/5 duties will differ in complexity and level of supervision. Geriatrics and Extended Care provides inpatient care for Veterans with acute and chronic health conditions. This LPN must contribute as a responsible member of the nursing care team and interact with Veterans, residents, family members, professionals, and other employees involved in the delivery of Veteran care.
This position requires the physical capability to care for severely disabled Veterans who require total nursing support for most or all of their bodily functions.
