RN - PreOp

Day 4x10-Hour Shift (11:30 AM - 10:00 PM)

We are seeking experienced Travel Surgical Nurses to provide high-quality pre-operative and post-operative care for both inpatients and outpatients. The primary focus will be on a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedics, among others. There may also be occasional duties related to vascular procedures and endoscopy.

• Conduct pre-op assessments and provide patient education regarding surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and manage pain assessment and control.
• Monitor patients during recovery and provide discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using Epic system.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols including isolation precautions and PPE.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in surgical nursing required.
• Active compact license required for all applicants.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with dysrhythmia recognition and management.
• Travel experience is required; candidates must have at least 2 years in a charge nurse capacity.
