Virginia Mason Medical Center is fulfilling our vision of transforming healthcare by hiring in our collaborative cardiothoracic team. We have an opportunity for a per diem/on call advanced practitioner in desirable Seattle, Washington to cover 1-2 shifts every 1-2 months and for planned leaves.

Virginia Mason Medical Center Cardiothoracic Surgery is a 3 surgeon practice looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join our team of 5 APP's.

• First assisting adult cardiac surgery, including Endoscopic Vein Harvesting
• Managing patients in the hospital, both critical care and telemetry units
• Bedside procedures based on interest and experience
• Occasional clinic responsibilities may be involved

Nurse Practitioner

• 3+ years cardiothoracic surgery APP experience highly preferred
• Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job.
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.

Physician Assistant-Certified

• 3+ years cardiothoracic surgery APP experience highly preferred
• This position requires Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington.
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.

$62.24 - $90.24 /hour
