This recruitment offers a $10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine.

UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a full time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week), evenings and some night shifts ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER (Registered Nurse
3) to join the Medical Oncology ICU. The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide direct nursing care, train and manage staff, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe patient care practices.

40 hours per week, evening and night shift.

• Establishes and maintains credibility as a leader of day-to-day operations
• Oversees staffing
• Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions
• Develops, coordinates, and maintains various work processes that ensure successful department function
• Promotes effective communication among staff and patients
• Identifies staff and resource problems and takes necessary steps toward problem resolutions

• 2 years of current or ICU nursing experience
• Previous charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience
• An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
• BLS

• Previous work experience in ICU medical and or oncology nursing
