Position: Registered Nurse - Hospice | Puget Sound Home Health and Hospice | King County
*** Due to the growth and opening of new territories we are hiring a Hospice RN!

** Essential Duties
*** Perform patient assessments (initial + ongoing)
* Develop and update care plans
* Administer meds and manage symptoms
* Educate/support patients and families
* Attend/participate in IDT meetings
* Make home visits as needed
* Document in EMR accurately and timely
* Communicate with physicians and team
* Triage urgent calls/on-call rotation
* Guide on hospice philosophy/DNR/advance directives
* Provide end-of-life emotional support
* Mentor new staff
* Ensure compliance with regulations
* Coordinate with outside services (DME, pharmacy, etc.)
** Requirements and Qualifications
*** Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
* ** Prior experience working in a hospice agency is strongly preferred  
*** Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking
* Current BLS certification from AHA
* Be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
