$10,000.00 Recruitment Incentive for eligible positions and eligible new employees joining UW Medicine
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join the UW Medicine Eye Institute at Harborview Medical Center.
UNIT DESCRIPTIONAt the UW Medicine Eye Institute, our mission aligns with our passion: to improve patients’ vision. We are well-equipped for this mission because our doctors are also researchers, and research leads to great patient care. We have an on-site Operating Room where eye procedures are performed with anesthesia support.
SCHEDULE- 100% Day shift, no weekends, no holidays
- This position will make post-op phone calls as needed
- No on-call, no weekends, no holidays
- Eye surgery—cataract, glaucoma procedures
- Oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery
The Eye Institute OR RN supports surgical practices by providing care across the continuum, including pre-anesthesia assessments, pre-procedure phone calls, patient intake, circulating cases, and pre/post-operative care.
REQUIREMENTS- Have/obtain Washington state nursing license or MSL to practice
- Two or more years nursing experience
- BLS
- Operating room or recovery room experience
- Have/obtain ACLS

Compensation, Benefits and Position DetailsPay Range Minimum: $94,824.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum: $ annual
Other Compensation: BSN or higher premium $1.00/hr;
Certification premium $1.25/hr; $10,000 sign-on bonus;
Relocation available;
Overtime pay
