RN - Oncology

As an Oncology RN, you will provide specialized care to oncology patients, primarily focusing on those receiving chemotherapy and managing various symptoms associated with their treatment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, attending to patients who may be neutropenic and managing unexpected admissions due to neutropenic fevers.

• Administer chemotherapy and manage related symptoms.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, including managing side effects.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines, including tunneled and non-tunneled ports.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and care processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing or MS/Tele nursing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Chemotherapy administration experience is required, along with blood product administration.
• Experience with central lines and management of tunneled/non-tunneled ports is essential.
