District Float LPN School Health Services | Seattle, WA

Location: Kent, WA (30 minute drive from Seattle, WA)
Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours per week
Setting: Onsite
Pay Rate: $34+ per hour

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a District Float Nurse supporting school health services across multiple buildings. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to adjust to varying schedules and student health needs.

• Provide nursing coverage across assigned school buildings as needed
• Support students with medical needs including Type I diabetes care and NG tube feedings
• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs throughout the school day
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures per care plans and district protocols
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and health services teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district health regulations
• Demonstrate flexibility with start times and daily assignments

• Active Washington State LPN license
• Experience with Type I diabetes management and NG tube feedings
• Ability to float between schools and adapt to changing schedules
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
