UW Medical Center-Northwest - Medical-Surgical Unit at the Center for Behavioral Health and Learning has an outstanding opportunity for a Night Shift Registered Nurse.

• 36 hours per week
• 3x12 shift schedule
• Night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am)
• Rotating weekend shifts required

• The Medical-Surgical Unit at the Center for Behavioral Health and Learning supports a wide range of individuals, including low acuity patients and patients with multiple comorbidities
• We are a unique unit, providing dedicated medical-surgical and telemetry care to the behavioral health population
• We have 50 beds and consistently hold 1:4 and 1:5 nurse to patient ratios
• Our patients receive holistic treatment, addressing their physical, medical, and mental health needs

• Work at a state-of-the-art facility
• Great opportunity for experienced medical-surgical RNs with an interest in behavioral health care

• Provide medical-surgical care to behavioral health patients, including those with psychiatric comorbidities
• Ensure patient safety protocols are followed, including restraint protocols
• Administer oral and injectable medications
• Monitor vital signs using telemetry equipment
• Assess and manage pain
• Provide education and discharge instructions to patients and their families
• Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect

• Active BLS
• Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State

Pay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly

Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly

Other Compensation: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (for eligible new employees) BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour Certification premium - $1.25/hour Night premium - $5.00/hour Weekend premium - $4.00/hour Sunday night premium - $3.00/hour
