Job DescriptionProvide nursing support for inpatient endoscopic procedures in a high-volume gastroenterology unit.
Compensation, Benefits and Position Details$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine.
Pay range: $45.59 - $83.64 per hour.
Other compensation includes: BSN (or higher) premium $1.00/hr; certification premium $1.25/hr; on‑call standby premium $7.00/hr; night premium $5.00/hr; weekend premium $4.00/hr.

Full-time, 100% FTE, regular position.
Work Schedule- 4x10 shift schedule
- Primarily day shifts, Monday‑Friday
- On‑call responsibilities: one weeknight per week and one weekend per month
- High‑volume inpatient procedural unit
- 3 rooms, seeing close to 24 patients each day
- RNs provide procedural support for therapeutic, diagnostic, and screening GI services and bronchoscopies

- Perform advanced endoscopies and complex GI procedures
Job Responsibilities
- Assist providers during endoscopic procedures
- Provide patient care before, during, and after conscious sedation
- Educate patients
- Administer medication
- Use and maintain endoscopic equipment
- Help manage emergencies and complications
- Promote efficient patient flow by assisting with patient admission, phone triage, and record keeping
- 2 years of recent procedural or gastroenterology nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Active RN licensure in Washington State
