Job Description
Radiology Department has an outstanding opportunity for a per diem REGISTERED NURSE (RN2).
Work ScheduleVariable days per week.
Department DescriptionOur Radiology/Imaging Services RNs provide radiology care for patients from all areas of UWMC, inpatient and outpatient. RNs working in our department provide procedural care including IV starts, conscious sedation monitoring and nursing assessment.
Position Highlights- Function as a liaison between patients, physicians and other healthcare providers
- Become a subject expert in client teaching of recent or future Radiology care
- Knowledgeable on full cycle nursing care in the Radiology field
Job Responsibilities
- Provide triage assessment, nursing diagnosis, and evaluate all aspects of nursing care for each discipline within the procedural of Interventional Radiology.
- Review and present all pertinent patient health history, physician orders and patient needs to formulate and prioritize a plan for procedural care.
- At least two years previous experience in a procedural area, emergency or ICU.
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington.
- BLS certification.
- Pay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly
- Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly
- Other Compensation: $4.50/hr night shift differential, $4.00/hr weekend shift differential, $2.50/hr evening shift differential, $1.00/hr BSN, $1.25/hr Nursing Certification
