Job specification

• Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents with life-threatening conditions
• Monitor patient conditions, assess vital signs, and respond to clinical changes and emergencies
• Administer medications, manage ventilators and life-support equipment, and assist with procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Provide education and emotional support to patients' families during complex medical situations
• Document all patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital standards
• Maintain a safe, healing environment that meets both physical and emotional needs of pediatric patients
• Participate in code situations and rapid response team activities as needed

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in Washington.
• BSN in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent PICU or pediatric critical care experience
• BLS and PALS certifications are required
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and crisis management skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
