Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing - RN to join our team at Seattle Medical Post Acute Care მუშ.
Base pay range$110,000 - $130,000 per year.
Registered Nurse License RequiredCurrent RN license is required.
Job SummaryWe seek an Assistant Director of Nursing with interpersonal and supervisory skills, an understanding of Skilled Nursing, and the ability to coordinate, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing services, programs, and activities in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
Essential Functions- Oversee the Unit Manager on each unit and ensure completion of all assigned responsibilities and resolution of resident care issues.
- Monitor and record infections, analyze data, determine trends and potential causes for Infection Control.
- Develop education and training with the Facility Educator.
- Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
- Determine and monitor nursing staffing needs; assign appropriate and adequate numbers of staff daily to meet resident needs.
- Review annually all nursing services policies and procedures.
- Conduct interview and selection of Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants with approval from the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
- Conduct yearly written evaluations of nurses and nurse aides.
- Ensure medical and nursing care is administered per resident wishes and individualized care plans.
- Current Registered Nurse certification in the state of employment.
- At least 1 year in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- At least 1 year of nurse management experience.
