- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm (no weekends, no nights)
- Years of Experience REQ: 1 year (2 years of experience as an inpatient nurse or cardiac clinic nurse would be preferred, but 1 year is REQUIRED.)
- First-Timers Accepted: Yes
- Weekend REQ: No
- Is on-call REQ? No
- Certs REQ: BLS
- Skills REQ: Interpretation of laboratory results, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Patient teaching, MRSA swabs, Discharge planning
- Patient Diagnoses: CAD, AVD, MVD, TVD, HCM, IST, AFIB, HFeEF
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No

- This is a TEMP to HIRE position (contract for 13 weeks, with the expectation that traveler joins clinic permanently at the end of the contract if all goes well and an offer is presented). Open to LOCAL and TRAVEL candidates, but MUST have WA RN license in-hand!
- If candidate resides outside of "local" range, they MUST agree to commute requirements or agree to relocate within range for contract and if presented with an offer after 13 weeks.
DETAILS:
Clinis is need of a pre-surgical visit nurse. This includes extensive patient education, interpretation of clinical results, timely communication with both surgeons and schedulers. Performance of EKGs and MRSA swabs are part of the nurse visit, as well as discharge planning. This is a cardiac surgery clinic, so our patient population is mostly fragile and highly anxious about their surgery and life post op.
