Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with BLS and ACLS certification for a 13-week, day shift contract, offering the opportunity to float to IR and work in a Level I trauma and teaching hospital.

Responsibilities
Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab with potential to float to Interventional Radiology as needed
Patient population includes cardiac and pediatric cases
Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:30, with weekend on-call requirements
Epic EMR system is used, previous experience preferred but not required
Level I trauma, Magnet-designated, and teaching hospital environment
Scrubs may be any solid color or light blue as provided on the unit
Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac and pediatric patients in the Cath Lab
May be required to float within scope to support facility needs
RTO is not permitted during orientation week and should be kept to a minimum
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers, with no specified radius requirement
Onsite parking is available with both onsite and offsite options, shuttle service provided for offsite parking on weekdays

Requirements
Active WA or compact RN license required prior to start
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
COVID-19 vaccination and booster required without exception
Previous experience in teaching and trauma hospital environments preferred
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Must not have been employed by the specified hospital system within the past 18 months
