• Supervise and support the Labour and Delivery nursing team, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee patient care activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care under clinical guidelines and hospital protocols.
• Work closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and overall department efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and effective environment for patients and staff.
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and resource allocation to meet the needs of the Labour and Delivery unit.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, providing guidance and support to the nursing team and ensuring timely, appropriate interventions.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• 2 years of recent experience in critical care with clinical knowledge and leadership qualities.
• BLS certification is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
