This role is a vital part of the care of our residents and an integral member of the community. The registered nurse will provide compassionate and effective care and support the Director of Nursing (DON) with assessments, admissions, and other duties as assigned. The incumbent will ensure residents’ comprehensive needs are met and HIPAA/PHI policies are followed.
Salary: $50-$55 per hour DOE
Responsibilities- Provide compassionate and effective care and treatments to residents.
- Support the DON with assessments, admissions, and other duties as assigned.
- Ensure residents’ comprehensive needs are met, in accordance with the Parkshore nursing team.
- Review routines, calendar of events, and resident needs.
- Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock, and counted.
- Ensure all charting and record keeping is accurate and complete.
- Promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age and the Culture of Excellence in all responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited RN Program.
- Active RN license in the state, in good standing.
- Experience in nursing home, assisted living, or long‑term care preferred.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends/holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of DHS regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with team members and external individuals.
- Completion of background check, drug screen, physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.
- Occasionally push, pull, or support up to 75 lbs.
