Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Family Programs & Basic Needs Coordinator, based in Kent, WA. The coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing family programs, providing direct support, and addressing basic needs for families and individuals. Daily tasks include coordinating resources, facilitating workshops, collaborating with community partners, and offering case management services. The role also requires promoting a welcoming and supportive environment and ensuring access to necessary services.
Qualifications- Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to connect effectively with individuals and families
- Understanding of Family Law and Family Medicine to provide appropriate guidance and referrals
- Experience in case management, including assessing needs and connecting clients with resources
- Knowledge of medicine or related healthcare fields to guide families in accessing suitable medical support and advice
- Proficiency in organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for diverse populations
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with community organizations or in resource coordination preferred
