We are seeking an energetic, mission‑driven development professional to lead key fundraising initiatives for a vibrant cultural organization with deep community roots and international visibility. This role plays a central part in advancing philanthropic support, strengthening donor relationships, and ensuring long‑term sustainability for impactful cultural programming.

• Lead development efforts including capital and annual campaigns, major gifts, corporate partnerships, foundation and government grants, membership, and planned giving programs.
• Work closely with the Development Director to plan fundraising drives, including setting goals, determining solicitation strategies, shaping messaging, coordinating mailings, and evaluating campaign performance.

• Build, deepen, and steward relationships with major donors, prospects, corporations, foundations, and key community partners.
• Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities to broaden philanthropic support.

• Oversee the full grants process, including research, proposal writing, submissions, compliance requirements, and post‑award reporting.
• Ensure all proposals and reports are compelling, accurate, well‑crafted, and aligned with funder expectations.

• Oversee the coordination of community engagement and fundraising events, including major festivals, auctions, and cultural gatherings.
• Contribute creative ideas that enhance donor experiences and strengthen connection to the organization’s mission.

• Revitalize and expand planned giving initiatives, especially deferred gifts such as bequests.
• Oversee membership programs, develop strategies to increase membership households, enhance retention, strengthen member engagement, and refine the benefits structure.
