Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager focuses on the overall development, implementation, and management of Cairnspring’s online marketing efforts to drive sales and support company growth. This position oversees digital campaign management and performance marketing; data analysis and reporting; website development and SEO optimization; affiliate partnerships programing; calendar, campaign, and budget management.

They will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines, lean budgets, and evolving needs of a growing business. The Digital Marketing Manager will manage the Social Media Coordinator. This position reports to the Director of Marketing. Requires some travel.

Position Responsibilities
  • Digital Campaign Management, Performance Marketing, and Team Management:
  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with company goals in partnership with the Director of Marketing and the Sales team
  • Innovate and build digital campaigns using multi-channel strategies, including email marketing campaigns and paid social campaigns, to drive product demand, acquire new customers, and retain loyal consumers
  • Build performance marketing strategies to support marketing initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement, prioritizing iteration and problem-solving
  • Coaching, development, and performance management
Project Management:
  • Work closely with Director of Marketing to create and manage a schedule of campaigns and digital communication
  • Responsible for executing paid social posts and campaigns, proactive and responsive engagement, and timely responses to all inbound messages, that align with brand voice
  • Work closely with the team to create and manage a schedule of paid digital communication and campaigns, and make content changes and improvements based on performance metrics
Website and SEO Optimization:
  • Collaborate with contracted web developers and agency partners to create and maintain brand website, ensuring optimal user experience and conversion rates
  • Keyword research, technical SEO audits, on-page optimization, and content strategy for organic searches
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and adapt accordingly
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze customer behavior and journey across multiple channels and touchpoints to identify conversion opportunities and drop-off points
  • Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on website, campaign, and social performance
  • Analyze market trends, competitor landscape, and customer behavior to identify target audiences; set goals and metrics to measure success.
  • Generate detailed reports and insights on performance, providing actionable recommendations to meet sales and company goals
Community Building:
  • Help promote the Cairnspring culture, internally and externally, and ensure a positive work environment
  • Build and maintain brand awareness
  • Identify potential partners, build relationships
Skills:
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to switch between being an analytical- and a creative-thinker
  • Expertise in digital campaign management and performance marketing
  • Proficiency in Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
  • Experience with bundling, LTOs, and campaign execution
  • Preferred experience in Amazon platforms, but not required
Requirements:
  • In-person at Skagit Mill at least one day a week
  • Willingness to travel and work independently on-site in a variety of locations
