Summary

The Senior Marketing & Client Relations Specialist will play a key role in the planning and execution of marketing and client relations initiatives. This position will participate and lead many day-to-day marketing activities as key components of the firm’s evolving growth and development initiatives.

Education & Experience
  • Experience working for a mature company, law firm, or professional services firm (required)
  • 2 – 5 years of business-level marketing experience (required with flexibility on number of years)
  • Legal marketing experience (preferred)

Successful candidates for this position must demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to deliver high-quality work product in professional environments for ultra-polished and image/reputation-obsessed clients
  • Understanding of SEO and website content management
  • Experience with Google PPC and LSA (preferred)
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, optimize content, and enhance marketing performance
  • Skill working with marketing automation programs and CRM management
  • Advanced knowledge of social media and email marketing (Linked In, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Skill utilizing programs, including Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, evolving projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Duties & Responsibilities

The Senior Marketing & Client Relations Specialist will work alongside firm leadership and external marketing professionals to execute successful marketing and client development initiatives that drive revenue growth. This role will contribute across five key areas in marketing and client relations. While the firm invites creative approaches to marketing and client relations challenges, this role will work toward achieving well-defined goals.

Analytics & Reporting – Establish reliable, clear marketing dashboards to measure the impact of marketing efforts across channels and provide regular insight on ROI.

Firm Website, Social Media, & Content Development – Extend the firm’s social reach and ensure that engagement matches leads.

Strategic Partnerships & Vendor Channel Relations – Lead projects with external vendors, own data gathering and reporting, and ensure timely production of deliverables. Ensure efficient vendor relations and that vendors are provided with the tools and resources necessary to produce against KPIs.

Client & Community Relations – Establish a strong, systemized referral pipeline and a well-nurtured client community.

PR – Enhance brand credibility and recognitions across multiple platforms and within client and legal communities. Strengthen the firm’s market presence. Provide guidance on event strategy and cadence. Evaluate event ROI.

Additional Responsibilities

This will be the firm’s first position dedicated to marketing and client relations. This role must handle many of the administrative tasks necessary to establish a working department within the firm, such as organizing and developing a library of marketing materials, monitoring expenses, and participating at weekly firm-wide meetings.
